I recently called you guys and found you very helpful over the phone, even though you did not take time to show me a place-at the time I suppose I wasn’t ready to make any decisions. And yet a very amiable, though somewhat stressed broker, managed to spend fair amount of time on the phone with me helping me get my bearings, and the information I was given pertaining to the cycles of the market this month proved helpful in my decision making.
I wound up finding a sweet spot on Lorimer, and just had to say thanks because the info was fortifying and made me feel in command of my search. You actually instructed me NOT to let the local brokers bully me around -which was the single most impressive piece of advice I got throughout this search. Thanks LG!
The service Mr. Schwartzman provided was exceptional. He did more than find us a great apartment in our price range that had everything we were looking for. He went beyond the call of duty and followed up with us several times to make sure that we were satisfied and that our landlord was taking care of us, took a look at our lease to make sure it was standard and made sure the place was cleaned properly. We got more that just an apartment broker when we used LINNAEUS GROUP CORP. We made a friend. Thanks so much for taking care of us. Job well done! We highly recommend their services and will for sure use this service again.
In two calls, I got more help and info from Dan (owner) than I got from 10+ brokers in 2 weeks. He really listened to my many living requirements (baby, big dog, home office, limited budget) and off I was to see apts after our 2nd conversation. I could really tell his goal was to find me what I needed. No other broker made me feel anywhere near that taken care of or confident in their assistance. I am recommending this broker to everyone I know!

Among the twenty or so brokers I called, Dave Haley was among only two people who actually took the time to find out what my husband and I were looking for in an apartment. He was really flexible in terms of meeting us, extremely friendly and funny, and most importantly, TOTALLY HONEST and forthright about anything and everything–including both the apartments he was showing us and about the market in general.
We were really eager to sign a lease due to time constraints. We knew exactly what we wanted, so when Dave showed us a place we loved in a really great location, we only needed a couple of hours to decide. He actually tried to talk us out of making a too-hasty decision (!), which most brokers in the Williamsburg area would never do (I’ve conducted four searches in the area over the last eight years and have dealt with at least a few shady, uninformed, and disinterested people). We were very reassured by his concern, and still totally comfortable about signing a lease. When the landlord presented some unexpected information just before we put down a deposit, Dave and Dan (the owner of Linnaeus) worked it out for us in an extremely fair way.
Josh and I left the office exhausted, happy, and totally pain-free. We never want to move ever again so long as we both shall live, but if anyone we know (or find on the street) is looking for a place in Brooklyn, we’d immediately recommend Dave and Linnaeus Group.

I used Linnaeus Group to rent out an apartment I own a few months ago. The Performance Exclusive that they offered me seemed too good to be true, and I was a bit nervous about signing a contract. But they pulled through and rented my place out, and honored their end of the deal, and my tenants have turned out to be wonderful. I knew I was dealing with professionals when I got a call from Dan at 9pm at night to discuss a detail of my lease that he thought wasn’t correct.
I can’t begin to praise the skill and integrity of Linnaeus Group enough. Dan Schwartzman and his agents make renting in Williamsburg hassle free for Landlords and Tenants alike. Before finding this talented group, I lost lots of time and money making up for broker oversights. Now, I find it much easier to develop a good working relationship with my tenants because Linnaeus Group always starts the rental process on the right foot. They are a great asset to Williamsburg. Landlords save yourself some time and don’t give your listings to anyone else!!
